Upon certification, you will receive a welcome package via mail with helpful checklists, a certified partner certificate, customer flyers and other beneficial marketing collateral.
Is information recoverable from a previously opened hard drive?
Yes, but the chances of retrieving the data are not guaranteed. When a hard drive is opened and tampered with the chances of full recovery can decrease and provoke additional data loss. It is best to always contact us prior to opening the hard drive at 800 872 2599.
What information must I provide in order to receive my commission?
A copy of your organization's W-9 is required. Upon completion and payment of your customer's data recovery job, the partner will be paid within 30-45 days.
Can I refer my customers directly to you? If so, will I still recive commission for that referal?
If you are not interested in handling a data recovery request, you can simply provide your customer with our contact information and have them contact us directly. We will take care of their data recovery needs and also process payment. You will still be entitled to receiving a 10% commission as long as you notify us prior to the job closing out. The referral check will be written out to your company name and will require a copy of your W-9 to pay out.

Yes, your client can ship their hardware directly to a Kroll Ontrack location at no additional cost.
I am a registered data recovery partner. Do I have to complete the certification course in order to continue to receive commission?
As an existing partner, you are not required to become certified and will continue to receive your commission and referral fee benefits. However, by becoming a certified partner, you are eligible for additional benefits including exclusive certified partner only discounts and access to our highly recognized resource center.
All partners that complete their certification by June 29, 2012 will be entered for a chance to win a new, third-generation iPad!
